Der Podcast des Landesverbands Brandenburg soll Themen der Piraten im Landesverband vorstellen und näher erläutern. Dabei kann es sich um kommunale Themen oder landesweite Aktionen handeln.
Wer ein bestimmtes Thema im Podcast vorstellen möchte, kann sich an Ducktail oder Christoph Brückmann wenden und dies mit ihm absprechen.

Torrents?
Torrents sind Dateien, welche mit speziellen Programmen wie beispielsweise BitTorrent heruntergeladen werden können. Bei Torrents werden Dateien in Stücke zerlegt, welche durch Programme wie BitTorrent einzeln heruntergeladen und zur fertigen Datei zusammengesetzt werden.
Der Vorteil von Torrent-Downloads ist, dass sie von mehreren Quellen gleichzeitig geladen werden. Dies entlastet unseren Audio-Server und macht die Downloads schneller.
Diese Vorteile ergeben sich durch das Peer-to-Peer-Prinzip, bei dem jeder Downloader gleichzeitig zum Anbieter wird. Es ist für alle anschließenden Downloader von Vorteil das Downloadprogramm nach Abschluss des Downloads weiterhin anzulassen, um den Download zu unterstützen.
